This page explains what happens to information you send us through this website. It is written to be read, not skimmed past.

Who we are
This website, www.mec.services, is run by Mian Engineers & Contractors, a civil and electrical contractor registered in Pakistan. Our registered office is Ghalib Market, K.L.P. Road, Zahir Pir, District Rahim Yar Khan, Punjab. You can reach us at [email protected] or +92 306-777-2707.

What we collect
Only what you choose to send us. If you use the contact form, that is your name, email address, phone number if you give one, and your message. If you use the prequalification request, that is your name, designation, organisation, office, email address, office telephone number and what you ask for. We do not ask for passwords, payment details or national identity numbers.

How we use it
To reply to you. For prequalification requests, we also use the details to verify the request by calling your office before we send any documents. We do not sell your information, rent it out or use it for marketing mailings.

Who handles it
Messages sent through the forms are delivered to us by email through our email provider (Resend). Our website is hosted and protected by Cloudflare, which also provides a spam check on the forms. These providers process information on our behalf only to deliver and protect the service, and may do so on servers outside Pakistan.

Cookies and tracking
This website does not set advertising or tracking cookies and does not use analytics. Cloudflare may set a short-lived technical token to tell people from automated spam; it is not used to identify you.

How long we keep it
Prequalification requests, and the emails that carry them, are kept for 24 months after the request and then deleted. Contact-form messages are kept for 12 months and then deleted. We may keep a record for longer where the law requires it or where we need it to deal with a dispute.

How we protect it
Form messages travel over an encrypted connection and are stored only in the email accounts of the people at MEC who deal with enquiries. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send confidential tender documents or defence-related information through the website forms.

Your choices
You can ask us at any time to tell you what we hold about you, to correct it or to delete it. Write to [email protected] from the address you used and we will reply within a reasonable time.

Our site links to other websites, such as WhatsApp. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their notices.

Children
This website is meant for businesses and public bodies. It is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
